The Blog Is Dead. Long Live The Blog.

Earlier in the week (the week of December 16, 2013) I pretty much destroyed my blog.  For a while now I was having intermittent issues posting with various errors.  Earlier in the week I updated the version of WordPress and the plug-ins.  After doing that I started getting various memory errors to the point that I couldn’t log in or post.  Today with a little Googling for ideas I determined one or more of my plugins were corrupt.  I FTPed in and renamed the plug-in folder (once I found it) and sure enough it came back to life again.  While I am unsure which plug-in killed it (I suspect a deprecated stats plug-in), it’s back up and running.  There goes my excuse for not updating my blog.

That being said, parts of it are still giving me the following message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/startha/public_html/blog/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-plugin-install-list-table.php on line 269

Oh well, time to do some more troubleshooting.  I am open to any ideas that people might have.
